Microsoft has released its March 2025 Xbox update, bringing a host of improvements to the gaming experience on PC and in the cloud. The update focuses on enhancing the user interface and streamlining game access, particularly for Game Pass subscribers.

The March update also introduces a new feature for Xbox Cloud Gaming, allowing players to jump between select titles more easily. Initially, this feature is available for Assassin's Creed games. Previously, players had to return to the Xbox.com/play page to switch between games. Now, when playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows, players can directly launch other Assassin’s Creed titles like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage without navigating back to the home page. This streamlined switching capability offers a more immersive and frictionless gaming experience.

Furthermore, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members are receiving even more value with new in-game benefits for free-to-play games. These benefits include unlocking cosmetics, characters, in-game currency, and more for titles like Heroes of the Storm, Naraka: Bladepoint, and The Finals. Starting in April 2025, even more benefits will be added for games like Call of Duty: Warzone and Enlisted, ensuring that Game Pass members always have fresh content to enjoy.
