Sony is taking a unique approach to its 2026 headphone lineup by officially bringing back 2020's greatest hit.

The company has revived the popular WH-1000XM4 design, introducing it as the newly updated WH-1000XM4C model. This refreshed iteration will be available to consumers as a $299.99 option.

While maintaining the familiar aesthetic, the WH-1000XM4C introduces several key hardware upgrades for the new year. The refreshed headphones feature a replaceable battery and offer connectivity through Bluetooth 6.0. Additionally, Sony has equipped the WH-1000XM4C with a new 10-band equalizer.
