GPT-4o Upgrades
OpenAI says that a new version of Voice Mode with GPT-4o capabilities will be available on the Mac within the coming weeks. For example, the introduction of the new multimodal GPT-4o model enhances response times, improves reasoning capabilities, and offers a better understanding of images and other content types.
This advanced image understanding pairs well with the platform's generative features. For instance, when generating content directly in the Messages app, ChatGPT leverages DALL·E to generate the images, and the results are almost invariably better than Apple's.
