Mophie Unveils High-Powered 2025 Speedport Charger Lineup with 120W Flagship
Mophie is betting big on power density with its new Speedport wall charger lineup, headlined by a 120W four-port flagship built for demanding workstations. Announced on December 10, 2025, and shipping now across the US, the release pushes the Zagg subsidiary deeper into the market for high-efficiency Gallium Nitride (GaN) charging.
The new collection—the Speedport 30, 45, 67, and 120—lands just in time for the holiday rush. The goal is simple: ditch the bulky manufacturer bricks for something smaller. By switching to GaN technology, Mophie cut the physical footprint of these chargers by nearly 50% over traditional silicon models without sacrificing output.
Pricing and Specifications Breakdown
The lineup spans from basic phone top-ups to heavy-duty laptop power. Mophie priced these units at a premium, banking on the appeal of GaN II tech and eco-friendly builds.
Sustainability Meets High Efficiency
Environmental impact plays a central role in this 2025 refresh. Mophie says the charger housings use 90% post-consumer recycled plastics, a move that fits into parent company Zagg's wider push for sustainability. It also helps the Speedport line stand out against generic competitors still churning out virgin plastics.
Efficiency gains go beyond just materials. Integrating GaN II technology shrinks the hardware while improving thermal management. These units generate up to 20% less heat than the 2023 models, fixing a common complaint about high-wattage compact chargers. Zagg confirms the chargers meet UL-certified safety standards, including overcharge protection and temperature control.
Market Availability and Regional Rollout
You can pick up the chargers immediately in the US via Mophie.com, Apple Stores, and retailers like Best Buy. Mophie confirmed in a blog post today (December 12) that initial stock is shipping without delays.
International availability is staggered. Buyers in Canada and the EU got access yesterday, December 11, while the UK market opens up on December 15. European pricing sits between €44.95 and €109.95 to cover VAT and compliance costs. Asia-Pacific markets, including Australia and Japan, will see a release in January 2026.
