He mentioned that the company had "managed to go inside DeepSeek’s AI model and ‘change’ it to remove ‘harmful side effects’." Furthermore, Microsoft stated that DeepSeek underwent "rigorous red teaming and safety evaluations" before its deployment on the Azure platform.
