Meta is bringing Creator Studio back from the dead, but this time it's running on AI. The company is reviving its once-shuttered page management platform as a standalone AI companion app for Facebook creators.
The revamped app aims to give creators direct, AI-powered guidance on how to grow their audience. This move reverses Meta's previous strategy, which killed the original Creator Studio in 2023 and pushed users toward its sprawling Business Suite.
An AI Ghostwriter for Your Comments
Meta says the assistant can serve up performance insights on demand and provide data-driven advice for improving engagement.
The Creator's New Dilemma
For creators, the promise is less time spent on tedious analysis and comment moderation. The risk, however, is that an over-reliance on AI-generated replies could erode the very creator-fan connection that these platforms claim to champion.
The new Creator Studio is not yet public. Meta is currently testing the app with a small group of "select creators" and has opened a waitlist for others, but has not offered a timeline for a full release.
